Camping Trip:
When: Friday @ 5pm to Saturday @ 5pm
Where: McDowell Creek Nature Preserve
Drop-off/Pick up: at Church
Cost: $10 per person (for food)
Things to bring: sleeping bag, sleeping pad, WINTER CLOTHING with SOCKS, EXTRA SOCKS, toiletries, snacks, flashlight, BIBLE
Retreat Sign Up and Deposit due THIS SUNDAY, October 10th!

Hello everyone! Summer is drawing to a close and Fall is fast approaching. As the weather gets cooler, it is my hope and prayer that our devotion to the Lord and each other does not. Here are the announcements from this week:
Gym Usage: Just to let you know that from now on if you do not attend worship service, you will not be allowed to play basketball. If one keeps abusing this privilege we will have to reassess whether or not we can even use the gym on Sundays. Yes, basketball is a great way to spend time with people, but we must also remember that Sundays are the Sabbath day (Leviticus 23:3) where we are to meet with and fellowship with one another. If you have any questions or problems with this policy, please let Tony know.
Camping Trip on Friday, October 7th: Now that the weather is getting cooler, we will be having going camping on Friday, October 7th to Saturday, October 8th. We chose this day because October 1st is the SAT. We will either be going to Mcdowell Nature Preserve in Fort Mill or Crowder's Mountain. Please let me know if you would like to come.

Hello everyone! Here are the announcements for this week:
Letters to David CanceledBecause he will be returning from boot camp in two weeks, David will most likely not be receiving any letters that we send to him. Because of this, we will be writing a letter for him when he returns soon =)

We have a busy week coming up with the GREEN ANGELS SOCCER CLINIC as well as our SUMMER YOUTH RETREAT. Attached is a rough schedule, but here are some quick details for the retreat:
DATES: July 18th - 20th
COST: $150 (church will pay $75 if you ASK)
TIME TO MEET: 8am on Monday, July 18th
TIME ENDING: 8pm on Wednesday, July 20th
THINGS TO BRING: Good Attitude, Bible, $10 for Wednesday lunch and dinner, swimming clothes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, flashlight, sleeping bag, deodorant, toothbrush/toothpaste, shampoo. DON'T EXPECT OTHERS TO BRING EXTRA BECAUSE LAST TIME THE GUYS DID THAT AND THERE WAS HARDLY ANY SHAMPOO LEFT!!

Letters to HJ: If you want to write HJ a letter, please bring it by this Sunday.
Yard Sale: We will be having our yard sale on Saturday, July 9th
Green Angels Soccer: The Green Angels Soccer team from LA is coming to visit us on Friday, July 15th. We will not be scrimmaging them but they will be giving us soccer tips so don't be intimidated and come on out =)
Summer Retreat: Our summer retreat will be July 18th-20th. Please sign up starting this Sunday.

1. Yard Sale: Please continue to bring items to church for our yard sale on July 9th. We will be having a yard sale on Saturday, June 4th. Please start bringing things to church to donate if you can. We will be collecting items at church. If you need Tony to pick them up please call!
2. Tony is still in Germany, so that means that either Greg or Kim MSN will be preaching this Sunday. Please treat them with respect and pray for our youth worship service.

Hyun Jong’s Sendoff: HJ will be going to the Marines at the end of this month. We will be having a special goodbye for him on the 29th at Jennifer SSN’s house. More details to come.
